Thanks to the Motley Krewe of Crystal Beach, the Port Bolivar, Crystal Beach, and High Island Volunteer Fire Departments are coming together for the 2027 Courir de Mardi Gras Chicken Run & Gumbo Cook-Off, January 15–16!
🚒 Let’s rally behind our hometown heroes! These dedicated volunteers are always there when our community needs them. Now it’s our turn to show our appreciation with a weekend of gumbo, live music, friendly competition, and Mardi Gras fun!

⏰ Gates open at 9:30 AM
🍲 Gumbo Tasting & Voting: 11 AM–3:30 PM
🎶 Bayou Sounds LIVE: Noon–3 PM
🐔 Business Mascot Run: 3:30 PM
