A Beloved Easter Morning Tradition on the Upper Texas Coast
Experience one of the most cherished traditions on the Upper Texas Coast at the annual Easter Sunrise Service in Crystal Beach, Texas. For more than 36 years, families and visitors have gathered to welcome Easter Morning together. Due to its incredible growth, the service moved in 2023 to Camp Margaritaville Crystal Beach, where the expansive turf field now provides a beautiful and welcoming setting for this special community event.
Sunrise Worship, Music, and Community Fellowship.
As the sun rises over the Gulf of Mexico, the Crystal Beach community comes together for a moving time of music, worship, and reflection. Guests are encouraged to come as they are—by car or golf cart, in shoes or barefoot—and to bring a chair to fully enjoy the peaceful atmosphere. This sunrise service captures the true spirit of Easter along the Upper Texas Coast.
Supporting Local Students Through the Easter Sunrise Service.
Sponsored by the Ministerial Alliance of Bolivar Peninsula, the Easter Sunrise Service is not only a time of worship but also a time of giving back. Donations collected during the service go toward a scholarship for a Bolivar Peninsula graduate, helping support their continued education and future success.
