Comprehensive Engineering & Inspection Services
We provide peace of mind, especially crucial during Hurricane Season, through our full suite of engineering and inspection services. Our core offering includes annual home inspections backed by engineering expertise, providing you with recommendations for repairs and fortifications and priority scheduling for post-storm inspections. We also establish a recurring baseline inspection to support future insurance claims. For new homeowners, we conduct thorough Builder’s Warranty 11-Month Inspections. As a valued client, you can Ask the Engineer! with 2+ questions answered annually. Our services extend to providing Pre-Engineered Home Plans & Drafting, including ten custom designs ready for your build, as well as comprehensive Windstorm Engineering for both new and post-construction projects. This involves designing structures to meet state and local wind codes, providing construction specifications, conducting construction inspections, and handling all necessary state paperwork, including the WPI-8 filing, to obtain a Certificate of Compliance for windstorm insurance. For post-construction properties, we perform non-invasive structural investigations, create plans for compliance, and inspect retrofits. Our Structural Engineering expertise covers the design of wood framing for residential and small commercial buildings, various foundation types (piling, pier and beam, slab on grade), and steel and concrete components, as well as retaining walls and bulkheads, coordinating with specialty products and designers as needed. Finally, we manage crucial Inspections & Permitting paperwork, including GLO Packages, V-Zone Letters, City/County required compliance inspections, and all necessary post-construction and WPI-8 Certifications. Beyond new home plans, our Drafting services support additions, renovations, small commercial design, site planning, and coordination for specialized compliance like TDLR application, ADA, and Energy Code Compliance (COM Check).
